Retail Industry Web Contests & Sweepstakes: Chrysler Green Sweeps, No Hybrid Car

To promote its Aspen Hybrid SUV and align itself with the green retailing movement, Chrysler staged the "Chrysler Drive to Go Green" sweepstakes, which surprisingly does not include a vehicle in the list of prizes. During the four-month contest period, over $19,000 worth of prizes will be awarded, none of them Chrysler products or services.

Although staged by Chrysler, this sweepstakes showcases showcases the chosen partner companies as much as the auto retailer.

The grand prize winner of the "Chrysler Drive to Go Green" Online Sweepstakes will not win a Chrysler vehicle. Rather, the grand prize is a trip for two to Ginn Reunion Resort in Reunion FL, including roundtrip air for two, $3,000 in resort accommodations, $300 for a rental car, and $500 cash.

Additional prizes will be randomly awarded to daily entrants throughout the sweepstakes.

Online Registration Entry

Anyone can enter daily by completing the online registration form on the contest website.

Daily Instant "Memory Match" Game Entry

After completing the online registration, entrants can play the "Match and Win" game for a chance to win instant prizes. Although a game of skill, the only way to lose the "match and win" game is to stop playing. After the game board is cleared, players receive immediate notification if they have been awarded an instant prize.

Besides the daily registration entry, and the daily "match and win" instant prize play, there are no other opportunities to obtain entries in the sweepstakes.

Sweepstakes registrants will be given the opportunity to refer a friend, but no additional entries are awarded for any referrals given.

Instant win prizes could be awarded any day during the contest period, and those winners will notified immediately after their match game play. The grand prize drawing is scheduled for January 5, 2009, and the winner will be notified by mail, e-mail, or phone.
