Almost all retail chains will be open on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2013, but most all of them will have either late openings or early closings or both on the first day of the New Year. Best Buy, Target, Apple and Wal-Mart will all have modified New Year’s store hours for their January 1st retailing and clearance sales. Retailers like Costco, Sam’s Club, and Tractor Supply Company are among the retailers that have store hours that are the most modified of all, as some of the few retailers that will not be open at all on 1-1-2013.
