World's Largest Retailers - The Biggest and Best Retail Chains in the U.S.

Each year Deloitte Touche Thmatsu and STORES Magazine publish the "Global Powers of Retailing" report which ranks top retail companies from around the world according to total annual sales. The following retail companies based in the U.S. are included on this prestigious list, which ranks the world's 250 largest retailers. The U.S. companies ranked on this world’s largest list vary somewhat from the annual Fortune 500 list, which is generally focused on publicly traded U.S. retail companies. Included in this global ranking are privately-held companies, and government retail operations
