Each year Business Week Magazine compiles a list of the best employers for new college graduates to launch their new careers. Companies are included on the "Best Places to Launch a Career" list based on surveys completed by college service directors, college undergraduates, and the companies themselves. The results of those surveys create a ranking of companies from all U.S. industries that represent the most desirable places for grads to begin their new careers.
What follows are the Business Week "best career launch" rankings for U.S. retail industry companies only in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. The number in the left column is the ranking number that was assigned to each particular company in that particular year when compared to all companies in all industries.
