Microsoft Corporate Mission Statement and Values:

The Microsoft mission statement is so big, that it fails to provide any clear direction about products, purpose, or specific outcomes. The corporate mission of Microsoft is:

"At Microsoft, our mission and values are to help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential.”

The Microsoft values do provide more definition about what’s important, but it is clear that Microsoft’s biggest failures are at least partially a result of leaders who didn’t value the company’s values. The Microsoft Values are...

”As a company, and as individuals, we value integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence, constructive self-criticism, continual self-improvement, and mutual respect. We are committed to our customers and partners and have a passion for technology. We take on big challenges, and pride ourselves on seeing them through. We hold ourselves accountable to our customers, shareholders, partners, and employees by honoring our commitments, providing results, and striving for the highest quality."
